Dr. Paul Dixon
Interim
Senior Pastor
Dr. Dixon is a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and
the University of Cincinnati. He has served as evangelist for
fourteen years and for twenty-five years as the President of
Cedarville University. He is presently the Chancellor of Cedarville
University. He and his wife Pat live in Crossville TN, they have one
son and daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, .

Bible Center Church
- Serves as leader to the
pastoral staff
- Serves as a consultant to Elder
and Deacon boards

Rev. Jesse Waggoner
Senior
Associate Pastor

Pastor Waggoner is a graduate of Appalachian Bible College,
he holds a Masters degree from Bethany Theological Seminary and is
completing requirements for his doctorate degree. He previously
served as Pastor of New Hope Bible Church in WV and of Calvary Baptist
Church in Ohio. He and his wife, Julie, have three grown children.
- Oversees all church-based ministries
- Oversees and facilitates adult
ministries, the website
- Works with the Elders in facilitating
their leadership role

Jim McQuerrey
Associate
Pastor of Worship Ministries

Pastor McQuerrey graduated from WV
Institute of Technology and holds a Master of Music degree from Marshall
University. He previously served as Minister of Music at Shenandoah
Baptist Church in Virginia, as a music educator in Kanawha County
Schools, and performed with the Charleston Symphony. He and his wife, Brenda, have
two grown daughters..
Oversees all music and worship-related ministries
Recruits, trains and prepares musicians for
worship
Prepares and plans worship services.

Lee Walker
Associate Pastor of Administration

Mr. Walker is a graduate of Appalachian
Bible College and has an MBA from Marshall University. He previously
served for 29 years at ABC, 16 as Executive Vice-President. He has served
on numerous boards of educational and non-profit organizations. He is
married to Marty, and has two children, three step-children and nine
grandchildren.

- Works directly with the Deacons in
facilitating their leadership role

Dr. Bill
Tanzey
Associate Pastor of
Community Ministries
btanzey@biblecenterchurch.com
Pastor Tanzey holds a Doctorate Degree from
Masters School of Divinity. He is also a graduate of West Virginia
University where he holds a Masters Degree in Counseling. Dr.
Tanzey is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He and his wife,
Doris, have three sons and two grandchildren.

outreach
- Oversees and implements the counseling
ministry
- Provides outreach and counsel to those
outside the Bible Center family

Richard P. Thompson
Pastor of Children's Ministries

Pastor Thompson has received training from
Moody Bible Institute and Liberty University and holds a B.S in Church
Ministry from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. He previously served as
Assistant Pastor and Children's Minister at Lyona Bible Church in
Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Michelle, are the parents of three sons:
Rick, Benjamin, and Jordan.
- Oversees and facilitates the children’s
ministries, including Base Camp and children's summer camp
- Recruits and trains a children’s
ministries volunteer staff of over 500
- Provides counsel and input to children
and their parents

Rev. David Jones
Pastor of Care Ministries

Pastor
Jones is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and has a Master of
Ministry Degree from Baptist Bible Seminary. He previously served as
pastor of a church in New York and then served 20 years as Associate
Pastor of his home church, Limerick Chapel, in Pennsylvania. He and his
wife, Debra, have one grown son, David.
Oversees and facilitates the care ministries
Provides counsel and input into the lives of
people who are in personal or financial crisis
Visits those who are hospitalized or shut-in and
ministers to families during times of bereavement
