April/May 2024

As followers of Jesus—and as Jesus transforms our hearts—we yearn to align our lives with His way and His Word, yielding to His design, His plans, and His will for our lives as we live out our faith and share the hope of Christ.

Through the lens of God’s Word, this series unpacks what is good and true amidst the cultural pressures of today’s world. Exploring topics like identity, mental health, politics, marriage, family, and conflict, each message provides valuable insight and practical wisdom to help us uphold biblical principles with a Christlike posture as faith and culture intersect.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God (Romans 12:1–2).

Jesus said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fish for people.” These simple words, spoken to a few ordinary people caught up in the day to day of their own lives, would ultimately launch a movement that would revolutionize the way humans interact with God. Step by step, as these original disciples followed after Jesus, they were changed, molded, and sent to carry the mission of Christ to this world. In the same way, Jesus now asks us to follow Him—in the way that He loves, standing on the truth that He demonstrated—so that we, too, may experience the life that He promises. As we launch “A Year of Transformation,” we open our hands and our hearts to what God may have for us, both individually and collectively, as we step forward into the next page of His story for Bible Center.
