About the Series

Easter/March 2024

The story of humankind is woven together by God who created everything. Out of His goodness, God created the universe and all that is within it—including humanity, intended to enjoy it. God created mankind with the ability to think, reason, experience emotion, and make decisions. Yet, they chose to rebel against their Creator, desiring His role. Consequently, sin entered the world, breaking everything, including the relationship between mankind and the Creator.

But God—in His goodness, love, and mercy—provided redemption. He sent His Son, Jesus, to bear humanity’s sins and triumph over death, so that all might have the opportunity to know God. Jesus not only saves but transforms lives, offering the assurance of restoration of all that has been broken. This beautiful gospel—the good news for all—is the essence of Easter, a celebration of hope for all of creation.

From Series: "Encounters with God: Hearing, Seeing, Knowing"

We often wonder about God's will and plan for us, asking questions like "How do I know what God wants for me?" "How can I tell what God’s plan is?" "What matters most to Him?" Throughout history, people have sought to know God better. This summer, we'll explore the lives of biblical figures who had profound encounters with God. These examples will guide us in hearing His voice, seeing His hand, and knowing His heart.
